Our internships train individuals in plant data collection techniques, ethnographic interviewing, and ethnographic participatory study design/outcome. Our medicinal plant internship focuses on the conservation of plants in the Western Amazon rainforest. Our interns will witness first hand the greatest threats to Amazonian plant species and the most effective strategies to conserve them. Aside from research activities, our interns will have countless opportunities to learn about the native cultures we with work. This includes using plants to create art and tools, medicine making, stories, traditional foods, and native languages.

Our internship activities are diverse, and our interns are given the freedom to focus on the skills and activities that interest them. You do not have to be an active student or field-specific professional to participate in our programs. People from all backgrounds, education levels, and levels of experience are welcome to apply.
