Selva Libre is a 501(C)(3) non-profit (EIN: 87-1679220) working to conserve the biological and cultural diversity in the Western Amazon rainforest. The mission of our conservation projects are to protect forested land and restore ecosystem services through the direct purchase or community investment of both intact and deforested parcels of rainforest. Our organization also supports the conservation of traditional knowledge by employing native community members and incorporating their perspective into our conservation decisions. By working with indigenous partners, community members, and scientists we strive to protect areas of key cultural and biological importance.
